In Medieval Europe, the plague spread through all of Europe. The people of Medieval Europe thought that the plague was caused by cosmic dust, serpents, cats, and the astrologic placement of Saturn in the house of Jupiter. You will be in almost no danger; it's just like getting the flu. If you get the plague now, you might die (if you're not given a cure) but, with the right treatment, you will live.
Today the plague is mostly found in Central Asia, Western USA, South America, Africa. The people today know that the plague is caused by the bactieria Yersinia Pestis, and fleas on rats. Now, in the present day, we do not have peasants or royalty. |
